I think, if you don't have labor doc, you can go to FLCDataCenter.com (http://www.flcdatacenter.com/) and search for MS Access document for the year when you file for the labor. If you have the number from the LC doc, search for that number in the access file and you will find the details of your case.

You are right... you should not submit documents with your LC first submission. In my case, they asked for some documents after my submisission(what it's called Audit); one of them was the Ad which they were not satisfied with it, so they Denied my case. However we appealed sending the whole Ad page making them change the case back to 'In Process'.
If you are still around, I just wanted to let you know that my PERM labor got approved on May 1st. It was filed on Oct 31st. No audit. Looking at your signature, looks like they also approved your LC. Congratulations!

In case of filing for a spouse (wife or husband) and dependent children, form I-764 clearly ask to provide evidence. Atleast most recent year Tax Returns are REQUIRED as per the form. My attorney updated me to present additional 2 years of federal tax returns (not the state) as well, which are optional. Remember these are REQUIRED alongwith W2s or 1099s.

That is Wrong. He can enter on H1 still maintain I-485. H1 can be from any compnay.There is reason why H1 is called as dual intent visa.

have a US visa stamped and has not expired, they will not let you board a plane to UK.
If you have GC, then there is no need for transit visa. If you are on AP, then you will need transit visa.
I think in the 50s and 60s, an Indian passport holder could enter the UK based on holding a commonwealth passport. Wonder why that policy changed? ;)

As part of Class action lawsuit can we ask for recapturing of all unused visa numbers? I believe the number is at least 300K, it covers the green cards for 2003, 2004 and 2005. 2006 can go with 2008 quota. So everyone will be happy.
I believe this is the provision we should fight for instead of CIRcus.
What are your thoughts?

Employer need to demonstrate 'Ability to Pay' from PD till I-140 is approved. Since you've used Nov 2004 labor, I assume that your PD is 'Nov 2004'. In this case your employer has to demonstrate ability to pay for year 2005 (even if you were not employed that time). If they have shown loss in 2005 tax return, chances are that your petition will be declined and only option is MTR and/or AAO.

Guys does RD change every time we get a I-485 notice. The first receipt I got shows correct RD as July 02, 2007 then the second notice that was send Oct 07 to say my case has been transferred to Lincoln has an RD of Sep 08, 2007 does this RD change every time the receipt notice is sent. Does it matter if it changes.

along with my above post, we applied for H1B/H4 renewal yesterday even though she is working on her EAD now.
H1 renewal i can understand but you need not apply for h4 renewal if your wife is working on EAD. Because if she wants to come back on h4, she always can and does not need h4 to be renewed now.

i talked to my lawyer and he says you need to withdraw the old 485 and apply for new 485 using marriage. he also said that once i withdraw my 485 based on employment my EAD will be revoked too and till i dont get my EAD through marriage i can work. All this didnt make any sense to me. I think he doesnt know what is he talking.

I thought about it again and think everyone has the right to post on forum as much as you. If IV does not like it, they will delete it. If you do not like a thread do not read it. Who is forcing you to read a thread? If you want to read something specific to your interest, there is a nice website I found recently. It is called 'Google'. We cannot assume that all the lawmakers know what 'EB' or 'Retrogression' means, if you want a GC then take the first step of empowering yourself by calling your lawmaker and educating them about this mess. Try it, you will thank yourself.
We all have powerful human interest stories, discussing them on forums will provide stress relief for a short time. Discussing it with people that matter will make a bigger difference.

It was because of Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren (D-CA). She wrote letters to Michael Chertoff, Secretary, U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Condoleezza Rice, Secretary, U.S. Department of State (DOS)
I have been long time member, may be one of the first few members and I will keep supporting IV in whatever way I can in the future also but I am convinced that unless we gain critical mass, nothing is going to happen.
