Even I got Duplicate I485, I765, I131 receipts. All the receipts has same A#. One set of I765 & I131 approved. For the second set , they send REF about Photos as I have not submitted any supporting documents ( Photos, I94 etc) for second set. I have submitted second set as follow up since I didnt get recepts for the first set within 5 months.
Now I want to withdraw duplicate I485 another set. What happen to your I485 withdraw. Any problems ?
Please advise ...

Hello,
I'm planning to get immigration medical examination done for my wife. We're also planning for pregnancy.
One doctor said we should not try for pregnancy for 4-6 months once she get the shots. He also said he will give a waiver for now for the shots but USCIS will ask for it later. Is that a good idea?
Another doctor said she can do a blood test and determine if she needs the shots.
Any body in the same situation?

I am working in Company A and currently on OPT. My 2008 H1visa has been approved. It will be effective on Oct.1st. Now I got a much better job offer from company B, and need to join the new company in July. How can I transfer my H1 visa? Thanks a lot in advance. By the way, I can work on OPT for any employer before Oct 1st.
Just ask the new company to apply for a new H1B and give them the approval notice of the current one which will show that you have been counted towards the quota.

As a EB2-India hopeful I was Current in Aug/Sept 2008, and had a 99.9% of hope of getting approval. However, they did nothing then though many with a lot lower (later) PD's and RD's were approved.
Now suddenly, I got several sets of emails with "Card production ordered", "Approval notice sent" and "Wecome as a New permanent resident" messages (some more than one with same message).
So, may be USCIS is not following any PD dates announced in Visa Bulletins, but this time for good. Ironically, I also got emails on my AP approval, which is dated a day later than GC approval. Sequence of LUDs is - AP received 11/11 with a soft LUD on 12/10, I-485 approval on 12/11, AP approval on 12/12. Got another set of emails today with similar contents as in emails dated 12/11.
Perhaps a lot is going on to clear old cases. Have hopes, and do something so that your file comes to someone's attention. ....Best to all....

1) 140 MUST be approved for your 5-26-01 application with your old company.
2) With your new company, get your LC approved under PERM
3) While applying for 140 with your new company, use your old company's 140 to port your 5-26-01 priority date.
Good Luck.
PS: Murthy version is reliable compared to Khanna, it is better to apply for porting during 140 stage rather than 485 stage.

My clients will be in USA and they will be paying my company in India. I will be on the board of the company , and will be doing voluntary marketing and promotional work for the company while residing in USA.
Thank you for your time.
Your H-1b must be sponsored by a US company. H-1b terms require you to gainfully work only for that employer. As long as your US tax returns do not show any other source of income and show you have been working fulltime for your sponsoring employer, you should be fine.
They do not bother with foreign wages or what you do with your free time ( as long as it inot a second job).

In thi case you can only get GC if you remain alive while serving the US Army. Remember they want to put you in front of the enemy first before they pu their citizens.

The proposal comes after months of bitterly fought debate over the issue.
Points system
After first paying visa fees and a $5,000 (�2,530) fine - and returning to their home country - illegal immigrants in the US would be eligible for the planned "Z visa".
Holders of this proposed visa would have to wait between eight and 13 years for a decision on their permanent residency application.
Another key component of the deal was the establishment of a "points system" that would emphasise new immigrants' education, language and job skills over family connections in awarding green cards.
New limits would also apply to US citizens bringing foreign-born parents into the country.
The bill also establishes a two-year temporary guest worker visa.
Holders of this visa would be allowed to renew their papers twice, but would have to return home for a year between each stint, and would have virtually no chance of gaining permanent residency or citizenship under this program.
The bill is expected to cause passionate debate in the Senate next week.
