Congrats on a nice purchase.

As for future support for syncing iOS devices, iTunes will be the biggest culprit. iTunes 10 requires 10.5.8, it's likely that the next major update to iTunes requires 10.6, which PPC's can't run. The big question is, how soon until that happens? With Lion due out this summer, I doubt it will take 2 years before Apple drops support for Leopard.

Yes I say a 'cracked' version because I don't know if he paid for it or not, and I didn't pay for it, my choice of words, i admit, was not very good!

At least the eject button for my CF card is not called "Rewind". :p

Your CF/SD cards are just flash RAM. Flash RAM is just a whole lot of capacitors. Maybe we should call them all "caps".
Is digital camera even a camera? My first digital and my current P&S have the on switch marked "Record".

If you're on a budget then look into a DIY stabilizer. Google or check out the DIY section of DVXUser for advice/instructions. It shouldn't be too hard to get something decent to control such a small camera.

Man, just go buy one. The hardware was just updated and they are terrific machines. Installing Lion will take about 30 mins in typical Apple fashion. You'll love it.

@TheMacMaster - I think you'll have to get a SL retail disc, its only $29 - then boot from that to do the disc repair.
In future, try not to hijack threads though, it makes things confusing, just start your own, it doesn't matter if you think you've got the same issue (because in fact, you might not.)

Umm. I think a new iPod Shuffle goes for 129. I don't know if many people will want to pay $9 less for a used one. Hey but I don't have one! Don't listen to me.

you can hide everything but the finder by option clicking the finder's icon in the dock.
